The collective memoirs of Company E are relatively loose. If you don't watch the series first, you may have difficulty remembering it. Each book is a unique perspective. Read slowly, and the dimensions and ways of seeing the world are quietly changing. "Band of Brothers" and "Catch-22" are both about World War II, and both describe the cruelty and trauma of war, but they gave me completely different reading experiences. "Band of Brothers" shines with the light of humanity and is warm and sunny; "Catch-22" is shackles of absurdity and gloomy and cold. When reading "Catch-22", I seemed to only see a narrow point, just like its title; while when reading "Band of Brothers", I saw only one aspect, just like its title.
I particularly like the protagonists in the book. They are brave, tenacious, and never flinch in the face of difficulties. However, I also hate those cruel enemies, and their evil deeds make me angry. Overall, this is a book worth reading and highly recommended to you!
