"My Loneliness is a Garden: Selected Poems of Adonis (New Edition)" is a selection and translation of seventeen poetry collections written by the translator in the nearly fifty years since the poet entered the poetry world. The poet Adonis is a rebel with a clear attitude, who fights against power and current customs with his indomitable stubbornness. His poetry is a window into the current situation of Arab society. He was saddened by the suffering suffered by his motherland, lamented that he was not tolerated by his motherland, and felt sad and angry at the backwardness of the entire Arab nation.
