A group of young people go to Spain on vacation to participate in the Running of the Bulls festival. They hang out in bars and cafes, partying wantonly but unable to feel happiness, longing for love but unable to love, struggling in frustration, emptiness and confusion, looking for a spiritual outlet.

In "The Sun Also Rises", a woman who likes not to be restrained by any man meets a man who has no ability to restrain any woman. Hemingway reflects on the war in this way. In addition to the physical harm to people, there is also the kind of spiritual harm to people that can never be erased.
This book has a lot of depth. The young people in the story are on vacation in Spain. Although they are partying hard on the outside, they are full of pain and confusion on the inside. I like the author's portrayal of the characters' inner lives, especially Cohen, who uses boxing to find himself, only to fall deeper into confusion. This made me feel the struggles of young people of that era, and also made me think about the meaning of life. All in all, this is a good book worth reading.
Hemingway's news interview style narrative is concise and clear, without being muddled. Like.
