Deep Space Fortress

[Apocalypse + sci-fi + mutation + cultivation + the Myriad Worlds + unconventional rebirth!]

“Even if I have to break through the Six Paths, I will find you again.”

Ning Xuan vanished from the Spirit Realm, taking its supreme treasure with him.

Meanwhile, Earth in the Human Realm was facing an ecological crisis.

Fifty years after Japan began discharging nuclear wastewater, the environment had deteriorated.

Creatures mutated, while spiritual energy on Earth unexpectedly began to recover.

The cultivation manual stated:

Cultivate a mountain, a tree, and a stream, and you will be an outstanding talent among men, fit for use.

Cultivate towering mountains, great trees, and a spirit stream, and you will be a once-in-a-millennium genius.

Cultivate snowy peaks, ancient trees, and a mighty river, and you will be a once-in-ten-thousand-years prodigy.

While cultivating, Yue Lin accidentally triggered a surge of spiritual energy pouring down from heaven and earth.

He gazed at the hundred thousand mountains, towering ancient trees, and hundred-yard-wide river of spiritual energy formed within his inner world, and fell into deep thought.

Could he have the makings of an Ancestor Daoist?

Then Yue Lin, swollen with pride, shouted:

I want the heavens to be unable to hide my eyes.

I want the earth to be unable to hold my legs.

I want Fan Fan to give me more tags and traffic...

People who started cultivating again made an unexpected discovery:

Was quantum mechanics actually behind cultivation?

Was radiation the same as astral winds? Was the recovered spiritual energy actually energy-bearing particles?

Those unable to cultivate, with the help of technology,

built space fortresses

using ground-based fortresses as their foundation,

and moved to live in the stratosphere,

creating countless stirring tales of survival in the apocalypse.

Will technology lead the way to immortality, or will cultivation lead the way for technology?

A brand-new era is about to begin.
