At the age of eight, Shen Jiangyue, a heaven-blessed prodigy, was discovered by the passing Immortal Lord Jialin thanks to his exceptional single-element Ice Spiritual Root. He entered Qingfu Mountain to cultivate as the Immortal Lord's disciple.
At twenty-five, Shen Jiangyue broke through to the Nascent Soul stage, becoming the youngest Nascent Soul Venerable in the cultivation world. He should have remained proud and spirited forever, envied by everyone.
Unfortunately, that same year, he was accidentally infected by demonic energy while on a mission. He instinctively tried to keep it secret, but little did he know that within days, rumors that he was a demonic spy had spread throughout the cultivation world.
His former fellow disciples forced Shen Jiangyue onto the Cliff of Reflection. After he was badly wounded, he fell to the bottom, where his junior fellow disciple Ao Qiming rescued him. Dragging his battered body to his master for help, he was instead told that everything had been a plot by his master to seize his Spiritual Root.
Shen Jiangyue's plea for help went unanswered. Instead, Immortal Lord Jialin imprisoned him on the Cliff of Reflection, where he was shut away from the light of day.
Ao Qiming was the weakest white jiao in the jiao clan. His mother was a jiao, but his father was merely a lowly snake servant.
To avoid being bullied, he joined Qingfu Mountain. But because he was mixed-blood, his meridians were blocked, and any random outer sect disciple on the mountain could beat him without giving him a chance to fight back.
Once, when his fellow disciples were bullying him, the passing Shen Jiangyue came to his rescue. Shen Jiangyue took him under his wing and protected him, making sure no one bullied him again.
Shen Jiangyue was like the bright, pure moonlight, illuminating the road ahead for Ao Qiming. From then on, Ao Qiming secretly admired him.
When he learned that Shen Jiangyue had been thrown from the Cliff of Reflection, he rushed off in a panic to find him. After finding him, Ao Qiming spent his spiritual power healing Shen Jiangyue, only to receive a single word in return: "Get lost!"
Both leads are sexually inexperienced. Happy ending.
