Gu Simu, whose reputation is in tatters, is set up by a scheming couple seeking revenge on the wrong person and permanently kicked out of the entertainment industry.
With nowhere else to turn, she seeks shelter with her childhood friend Yan Ruo, unaware that he has been waiting for her all along, hoping she would hit rock bottom before coming back to him.
From then on, she puts away her naive, sweet-girl act and grows sharper with every step.
If they won’t let her be a star, she’ll work behind the scenes and make a whole roster of A-list celebrities who can snatch every opportunity away from those worthless men and women!
She’ll grow powerful. She’ll become someone everyone looks up to!
In the end, she weathers setbacks, betrayal, and obstruction, carving out a path through a field of thorns to build her own business empire.
And so, a legendary talent agent is born.
