This book is so interesting! The author's imagination is simply incredible! Just like "The Little Prince", it makes people think about life while laughing. Moreover, this book also reminded me of "The Three-Body Problem", which is also about the world in different dimensions. "Flatland" is easier to understand. I think the author Abbott is like a genius, able to explain such a complex concept so simply and interestingly. All in all, this is an eye-catching book, highly recommended!

The first half talks about "common sense of Flatland", but we in the three-dimensional world all know that there are many mistakes in those "common senses"; the second half talks about the glimmering of squares in other dimensional worlds, including condescension in the face of one and zero dimensions, and embarrassment and anger in the face of three dimensions, as well as inferences about the fourth dimension after understanding three dimensions, and this also reflects us in the three-dimensional world like a mirror.
I have three versions. This version has three more illustrations. I guess they were added later because the style is different from the other illustrations.
