This reminds me of some books of the same type, such as "The Story of Drama", which can give readers a more comprehensive understanding of drama. Moreover, this book is also very cutting-edge and mentions a lot of the development and trends of modern drama, which is very helpful for us to understand the trends of world drama. I think Chinese drama can also get some inspiration from it and continue to innovate and develop. However, I didn't like some of the overly theoretical parts of the book, which felt a bit obscure. Overall, this is a great book worth reading!
