[Unhinged Male Lead vs. Hypercompetitive Female Lead]
After Miao Xiaoqing has the same three vivid daydreams every day at dawn for three months straight, she is diagnosed as being in the late stages of daydream cancer. Then she gets bound to a Daydream Achievement System. She had hoped to finally start living a carefree, do-nothing life, but the System forces her to become a workaholic.
Other people's Systems either pamper their Hosts with food and drink or help them solve their problems. Hers, on the other hand, starts off with:
[Host, please stop daydreaming]
[Host, please stop expecting the sky to drop free money]
Or it nags her to study:
[Host, the employment rate is so low these days. How can you still sleep?]
[Host, get up and study immediately]
[Host refuses to study. Physical weakness for seven days]
Or it mocks her and rubs her shortcomings in her face:
[Host, please have a clear understanding of yourself]
[Host, wipe your drool]
[Host, the gap between you and him is too great. There is no comparison]
Aaaagh...
Fine! If that's how it's going to be, I'd rather work myself to death than let anyone else outwork me.
He is universally recognized as a genius, but he also suffers from bipolar disorder. Apart from his friend Gao Jiangran, everyone keeps their distance from him. He discovers that he becomes unusually calm around her, and even when angry, he can control his emotions. Only when he is with her does he feel like a real person...
"I'm here to save you. I'll help you, so don't be afraid!"
He thinks that at last, there is light in his world too...
It's pretty good. This was the first time I saw the daydream system. I originally thought it would release tasks based on the number of daydreams I had, but it turned out not to be the case. It's not cliché, but there is currently too little content to watch. I hope the author can continue to maintain it and not collapse or give up.
