Since the Evil Gods descended upon the world, they have blocked the heavens above and oppressed the common people below. They scorn Heaven and Earth and defy the natural order. They falsely claim the Mandate of Heaven and forge heavenly decrees to deceive the people. They distort the truth and manufacture auspicious signs to placate Heaven, Earth, and the people, all while claiming legitimacy. They toy with the people and glorify calamity. Our words fail us; we cannot begin to enumerate their crimes. The whole world knows and bears witness. Now we rise once more in holy war, to put an end to the Evil Gods’ wickedness and return Heaven and Earth to the people.
Heaven is our father and Earth our mother. Each acts according to its nature, and all things follow their due course. The Evil Gods knew this, yet in their blindness they acted in defiance, heedless of the greatest taboos. They threw the heavenly order into chaos and twisted its will.
In ancient times, Heaven and Earth’s will gave the people of the world the Martial Way, so that they might achieve their own potential. But ever since the Evil Gods descended, the Martial Way has withered. They severed the people’s path to Heaven to secure their own power. This is their great crime against Heaven and Earth. They divided nations and cut off the earthly ley lines. They built grand projects, exhausting the people’s strength to satisfy the Evil Gods’ insatiable extravagance. The people of the world have suffered under them for far too long.
Now Heaven and Earth have summoned our System. You shall resist the gods, uphold the authority of Heaven and Earth, and restore clarity to the world.
I follow the will of Heaven above and the wishes of the people below. I strike down the gods to establish the people, acting in harmony with Heaven’s timing. With Heaven and Earth’s aid, nothing can defeat us.
Your ancestors were all heroes of the Martial Way. Now we will reopen the path to Heaven for the common people. Reviving the Martial Way and restoring its severed path, in accordance with the ancient order of Heaven and Earth, is our heavenly mandate.
Those who refuse shall be subdued by force. I urge all people of ambition to gather righteous troops, advance into enemy territory, raise the prestige of the Martial Way, and defend the realm together, so that we may share in this extraordinary achievement.
