[Eerie] [Supernatural] [Urban] [Detective] [Horror]
Chu Youming is an orphan who grew up in a welfare home. He later enrolled in a medical university's combined undergraduate and master's program, specializing in cardiac surgery.
After completing his graduate studies, he returned to his hometown of Lucheng and became an attending physician in the cardiac surgery department at Boxin Hospital.
Having grown up without his parents, Chu Youming was withdrawn and had little social life or entertainment outside of work. His only hobby was writing.
He poured his fantasies and feelings into his stories.
He liked writing about murders, the supernatural, and eventually rule-based horror.
Unlike other writers, Chu Youming didn't write to make a living. He wrote to find an outlet, express his feelings, and vent.
But on the day of the Qingming Festival in his second year back, he was tired from visiting the graves, so he lay down on a long stone bench in the cemetery to rest and think up a plot for his novel.
Before he knew it, he had fallen asleep. When he woke up, he was back home, and he had no idea how he got there.
But from that day on, everything around him began to change, and things took a turn for the worse. Lucheng transformed, and the Eerie descended.
Chu Youming discovered that he had some kind of connection to mysterious supernatural powers. He became the one wielding the knife.
…
In the end, the rules of the urban legend were actually compiled by the police for him. How strange…
The blurb doesn't do it justice. Read the story.
It's great to watch. But what, the protagonist is unemployed? Why haven't I seen him go to work?
