The Girl on a Bicycle

[A little girl's everyday life + Coming of age]

A nine-year-old girl's fate is controlled by her grandmother.

If Grandma tells her to go east, she never goes west. She's obedient, sensible, and well-behaved.

Grandma wants a nine-year-old girl to “grow up,” but what she doesn't know is that the little girl is already very sensible!

Her family and circumstances force her to learn adult “lessons” at such a young age.

Time and again, she's simply told what her life will be.
