What do you do if the apocalypse hits halfway through your postgraduate entrance exam prep? Give up? No! Not unless you’ve been admitted to a government job.
In my previous life, the apocalypse hit while I was studying for the postgraduate entrance exam. It wasn’t until I was crushed to death by a book that I realized books don’t always contain a golden house, but they can contain a pocket dimension! When the apocalypse came again, my best friend and I were both reborn. The price: a technically minded, darkly cackling, utterly shameless attitude. This time, with my best friend at my left and my dog at my right, I’ll throw punches with my left and kick with my right, wield a knife by day and a pen by night. I’ll get both my degree and a job, be sweet or cool with a big grin, and rule the universe unchallenged! Even in a chaotic world, I’ll have my desk. This time, I’m passing that exam!
If these disasters insist on interrupting our love of learning, then we’ll rise from our seats and calmly stride through the apocalypse. If we’re destined to carry a landslide of a fate in this life, then what does it all come down to: a collapse of morality or a distortion of time and space? Stay tuned.
