Oath of Death, 1941

I haven't read such a beautiful anti-Japanese novel in a long time. Every little character is depicted with flesh and blood and comes alive. The plot is compact and tense, and has strong logic. Especially the description of the customs, customs and scenery of Northeast China is particularly apt. Maybe it's not a time-travel novel, and it doesn't seem as exciting as a refreshing novel, but I think this novel is quite enjoyable, and it's almost as enjoyable as a fact. I don't know why such a good novel has such a low rating, so I'll give it a five-star rating!

Like it very much! I discovered it when I was in a book shortage. I couldn't sleep and just flipped through it without intending to read it seriously. After reading it for a while, I couldn't even fall asleep. It is extremely exciting, there is no time-travel and rebirth system, but the protagonist Xiao Wuzi kills decisively, even though he is often injured, it is more realistic. The other supporting characters each have their own wonderful characters with distinct personalities. The author's writing is solid, and his plain narration can conjure up various pictures. He often burst into tears while reading it. And there are many places that make people smile. I look forward to completing the book as soon as possible and making it into a TV series with the potential to be a swordsman and a group leader. (I've seen Zhao Xuanheng's Saber and Something Like that before, which was about bandits resisting Japan)
