Mr. Lin's Precious Little Darling

Xinya was the name her mother gave her. It meant “beloved child,” and her mother hoped she would always be as happy as a child.

When Liu Xinya’s mother was pregnant with her, she was already of advanced maternal age. The family already had a son, Liu Muchen, who was seven years older than Xinya. She was born premature and suffered asphyxia. Although she was safely discharged after emergency treatment, the gap between Xinya and her brother Liu Muchen was simply too great, especially when it came to intelligence. Her brother was tall and handsome, and always ranked near the top of his class. Xinya was thin and frail from childhood, and struggled with her studies. Fortunately, her whole family doted on her. Her parents felt they owed her and had no expectations of her, wanting only for her to grow up healthy and happy. As she grew older, Xinya became soft, sweet, adorably clueless, and utterly innocent, like a pure and clear little fairy who had fallen into the mortal world.

The year she graduated from high school, Lin Xun entered her world. She was only just beginning to understand romance, and finally learned what love at first sight and a secret crush felt like. After graduating from university, Xinya resolutely went to work in the capital. She wanted to leave her parents for real and learn to be independent, and she also wanted to catch a distant glimpse of Lin Xun.

Lin Xun had never known that the young woman before him had secretly loved him for four years. When he saw that painting, something stirred in his heart.

From then on, Mr. Lin began his quest to win her over, cherishing little Xinya as if she were the most precious thing in the world.
