In the final years of the Ming dynasty, a mysterious old man uses the Seven-Star Lamp ritual to prolong life, stealing fate and fortune from Heaven.
He spares no effort to unleash catastrophe upon the jianghu and the imperial court... Seeking to emulate Guiguzi, he turns Heaven and Earth into a chessboard and all living beings into pieces, playing against Heaven.
The jianghu falls into chaos, while the imperial court's Eastern Depot, the Embroidered Uniform Guard, and the Donglin faction remain locked in endless conflict.
Beyond the borders, the Qing army presses at the passes, and rebel bands rise everywhere.
Watch as a master tactician breaks each deadlock, executes those who steal the fortune of Heaven and Earth, pacifies the four corners of the realm, and prolongs the life of Heaven and Earth.
