The Road to Heaven

After the protagonist, Wuwei, dies, his soul arrives in the underworld to undergo redemption, so that he may attain rebirth or a new life. There, he sees and hears how the souls of the false, wicked, and ugly are subjected to harsh judgment, punishment, and refinement. Just as his redemption is complete, he is entrusted with a mission in a moment of crisis. He works tirelessly to help the gods uncover a shocking conspiracy by aliens to exterminate humanity and seize the Earth. After ascending to Heaven, he is deeply moved by its beauty and wonders. Having listened to several gods of mysterious and legendary renown expound on truth, goodness, and beauty, and drawing inspiration from the society of Heaven, he discovers a steady path toward a better life and a brighter future for human society. Tales rich in detail complement reasoned arguments honed to perfection, each enhancing the other. The novel's purpose is to offer people a powerful sense of purpose and a hope that feels almost real, inspiring them on their individual journeys to survive and thrive: to live with value, endure with dignity, act with strength, and grow with substance.
