What’s it like to hear voices from the past?
Tang Xin knows all about it.
As a detective in Wancheng, Tang Xin has her own cases to handle and also helps the police solve theirs. She’s incredibly busy. And the cases she comes across are often bizarre and fantastical. The people she meets are sometimes loathsome, sometimes heartbreaking, but all of them are reflections of ordinary people.
By her side are a witty police captain, a half-ghost who has suffered terribly yet remains optimistic, a pure and kind sword spirit, a woman who has been lonely for a thousand years out of love, and a guardian who seems fragile on the surface but is a formidable fighter.
All the stories gradually unfold!
