Women's Private History: The Pre-Qin Era (Six-Volume Set)

The Pre-Qin period was the birthplace of our five-thousand-year civilization. The women of that era embodied a profound maternal spirit, and it was thanks to them that our civilization became so vibrant and diverse.

The stories of Pre-Qin women are like fragrant orchids and winter plum blossoms. Even after passing through more than a thousand years, their fragrance lingers. Unfortunately, historical records of these women are scarce, and some of their stories have to be pieced together from obscure and difficult poems.

After years of research and compilation, the author Yin Jianxiang has created this major work, offering a fresh account of women in the Pre-Qin period. Each story has been carefully examined and verified, reassembling fragments of history that had been torn apart and revealing the lives of women in that era, along with many fascinating stories, to readers.
