Synopsis

This is a growth-focused story. Readers who want an invincible protagonist, please stay away.

After the creation of the mortal world... centuries later, humanity flourished rapidly. To advance civilization, humans recklessly cut down, occupied, seized, and slaughtered across the mortal realm. But human desire was boundless, and people began slaughtering one another for power and position... The situation gradually spiraled out of control, and only then did the “World God” notice. It sent the “Twelfth Divine Child” to oversee the growth of “evil thoughts” and “righteous principles” among humankind, and to curb them...

After the “Twelfth Divine Child” took charge, the state of humanity steadily improved. “Righteous principles” flourished endlessly among humankind, while “evil intent” was brought under control. Oppression in the mortal world diminished, and “spiritual energy” gradually ebbed away until it vanished completely...

But this threatened the interests of certain “gods.” In their fury, several “gods” joined forces with the surviving “evil cultivators” in the mortal realm. They gradually extended the “claws of the abyss” toward the “Twelfth Divine Child.” By the time the “Twelfth Divine Child” realized what was happening, it was already too late. As it fell into the “abyss,” its consciousness split into two: one, “evil,” hid in the “Void Realm”; the other, “righteousness,” fell into the “world of mortals”...

Without the “Twelfth Divine Child” to govern them, humans gradually spiraled out of control. Before long, “demons” led by an “evil demigod” appeared. To avoid alerting the “World God” once more, the “demons” operated with extreme secrecy.

Some human “spiritualists” sensed this anomaly and fought back. They awakened their “spiritual power” and formed an underground organization. Its leader remains unknown...

After the “righteous demigod” fell into the “mortal realm,” it lost its “divine will” and became no different from an ordinary person. This should have stabilized the “situation,” allowing the “righteous demigod” to live out its life in peace... But at some point, the “evil demigod” conceived a mysterious “scheme” and reached out with its “demonic claws” toward the “righteous demigod”…

Looking for Superpower Novels

Any novels about supernatural powers, school life, or awakening abilities? No need to recommend Dali; I prefer lighthearted, funny stories. A female lead would be nice, but no harem.

The Protagonist and a Few Others Awaken Special Powers and Join a Secret Organization Without Anyone Finding Out

Something like "Ability Hunters": The protagonist starts out as an ordinary person, then awakens an ability, gets recruited by a mysterious organization, starts carrying out missions, and grows stronger. Nothing where the whole world awakens abilities.
