Heart of Steel: Starting as a Maid

Li Yunuo was born into a moderately sized clan. Her parents were the clan leaders, but some members of the clan schemed against them. In the end, her parents had their cultivation crippled and were driven out. Unable to accept what had happened, they suffered mental breakdowns and came to believe that Li Yunuo and her older sister, Li Yulu, were the family’s maids, while her older brother, Li Jue, was the family’s steward. Out of filial devotion, and in the hope of helping their parents recover, the siblings played their assigned roles whenever they were around them. Then one day, they met someone who claimed he could cure their parents. His condition for treating them was that he take Li Yunuo away.
