Battlefield Memories of a Senior Former Kuomintang Commander: The Huaihai Campaign

I have read many military books about the "Battle of Huaihai" before, but almost all of them were written by the victors. This memoir is written by many Kuomintang troops who rebelled, surrendered, and defeated generals. They use their own personal battlefield experiences to narrate the entire process of the Huaihai Campaign from another perspective. By reading the two-sided accounts between the victor and the loser, readers will have a more objective and comprehensive understanding of the entire battle. Therefore, this book is a must-read for readers who are willing to understand the military history of the Chinese Revolution.

This book records the Huaihai Battle in detail from the perspective of a senior KMT general, giving me a more comprehensive understanding of the battle. The war scenes and soldiers' lives described in the book made me empathize with them, and reminded me of the experiences of my own relatives and friends. War is always cruel and brings endless suffering to people. We should cherish our current peaceful life, but also remember history and learn lessons from it. This book is worth reading and recommended to friends who are interested in history.

I tell my own true history. Rare experiencers describe the cruelty of war.

Beautiful, great job editing!
