A Pillowful of Dreams

[Marriage first, love later + the second male lead wins the girl + a groveling chase + past and present lives]

A battlefield of romantic entanglements at every turn.

Xiao Susheng is an unloved prince, with no one to care for him. He gives away the only person who ever cared about him.

Mei Shu develops feelings for the Crown Prince of the Eastern Palace, Xiao Weichen, while carrying out a mission. They’re both handsome, but why not choose the gentle and affectionate Weichen?

To her surprise, this new handsome man is only pretending with her! (Each thinks the other is using them, while both have fallen without realizing it.)

Fine, fine. There isn’t a single good person in this world!

Two men left groveling still can’t win back one stubborn heroine.

A friendly reminder: Susheng and Weichen do some rather inhumane things, but at least they’re devoted and loyal.

But the one true moonlight in this story is, of course, the bookish scholar, Yan Ting!

Mei Shu: a cold-faced, warm-hearted assassin

Xiao Susheng: a soft-hearted god

Xiao Weichen: a man trapped in his obsession

Yan Ting: waiting five hundred years for someone who never returns

(Xiao Weichen is Yan Ting.)

[No golden finger]

The second male lead and the heroine are true love, and they fall for each other. Their story has both sweet and angsty moments.

The overall pacing is gentle and unhurried. (If you’re looking for something more exciting, you can start at Chapter 60.)

A sweet dream begins.
