As the chosen one of the fox clan, Hua Liyue bears the responsibility of speaking with the gods.

But she doesn't believe in them. She even resents them, because the gods have never once been in contact with her.

It isn't until she leaves her clan and sets out on a special journey that she regains her memories and learns the truth: the gods had given her a choice long ago.

With a sincere heart, through endless cycles of reincarnation.

God: “Are you sure you want to be trapped in reincarnation for all eternity for the sake of this human heart, until you achieve a perfect ending? Do you know how foolish that is? With your potential...”

“Yes. You don't need to say more. I'm absolutely certain, and I won't regret it.”

God: “Why are you so determined? Everything is fated. Give up.”

“There's no reason. I gave my word, so I'll see it through.”

“And besides, I have never believed in fate.”

In her final cycle of reincarnation, her memories return early, and Hua Liyue finally understands what it will take to achieve a perfect ending.

So she flies straight into the flames, without a moment's hesitation.

But why does everyone seem so reluctant to let her go?

It's not like she's done anything special.

Muzan: “You leave me again and again. No matter how many hearts I have, there aren't enough to withstand the pain you cause.”

Kokushibo: “My reflection is there every time I swing my sword. Are you going to use it to hurt me now?”

Muichiro Tokito: “Can I say it? I feel safe when I'm with you.”

Note: There will be scenes of people being saved, but not every character whose fate readers lament will be saved.
