A Mother's Need for Control

Not every kind of love deserves to be praised. My mother planned every aspect of my life and controlled everything, all in the name of what she thought was love. Under the guise of doing what was best for me, she kept hurting me again and again. I only want to go to the school I choose. It's not as if I'm doing something evil. Yet because I refused to follow my mother's plans, she tried every way she could to stop me. I want a more exciting life of my own, and this time, I won't back down.
