One Face Among a Hundred Ghosts

This world keeps going through one cycle after another. This is the sixth, isn't it? When will peace finally return? The dark old days: how desperately He wished they belonged to Him.

In this world of magic, every era brings change.

This time, machinery and steam have become the trend in the magical world.

After the previous era was destroyed, a powerful survivor awakened by sheer luck and wrote a novel. In it, he left clues for the era's sole savior, waiting for him to rescue the world.

The novel he wrote went like this:

There was a man forced to carry a corpse night after night, until its lips pressed against his ear and it finished telling the story of its long life. Don't even think about throwing me to the ground. Like the man in that legend, you will have to bear the burden of my three sleepless nights: Heavenly Venerable who carries the world's flame onward, I humbly ask you to open the mysterious door and guide me to touch the truth of the world.
