Longing for You: Staying Together, Bound for the Primordial World
“Xiang Liu” means to keep someone from leaving.
This story takes place a hundred years after the events of the original Longing for You. After learning that Xiang Liu has died, Xiao Yao goes out to sea. There, she overhears a conversation between merfolk and learns from them all the things Xiang Liu had quietly done for her over the years. She comes to understand the unspoken love and selfless devotion he had never told her about. Then, with Mao Qiu’s guidance and the White Emperor’s help, Xiao Yao finds the last remnant of Xiang Liu’s soul still lingering in this world. She begins a century-long plan to bring her beloved back to life.
Xiang Liu’s death helps Xiao Yao see her own heart clearly and prompts her to rethink what she once understood “love” to mean. Over the next hundred years, she travels across the Great Wilderness, saving lives in Qingshui Town and witnessing the partings, reunions, joys, and sorrows of its people. In the end, she revives her beloved and makes peace with the past…
This story hopes to bring Xiao Yao redemption, giving her one last chance to hold on: to make peace with her childhood, her parents, and her pain, and finally join hands with the one she loves as they venture into the primordial world together.
It's so good. I was really touched when I read the last postscript [I almost cried]. The title of each chapter made me feel very interesting. It made me feel like Wu Cheng'en, roughly summarizing the content of this chapter. This article is really fascinating. There may seem to be a lot of doubts, but there are also traces to follow. When the tray came out at the end, it really left me with endless aftertaste. Every time after the doubts are explained, I suddenly realize that this is the case. I like the plots such as the meeting between Xiang Liu and Xiao Yao and the discovery that Xiang Liu pretended to have amnesia ❤️ If my wife changes the cover, not so few people will see it. I suggest changing the cover if it can be seen.
Among Yao Liu's essays, this one is really good, not too long or boring. Xiao Yao is also determined, brave, wise, but also extremely affectionate. Xiang Liu is also still strong and affectionate, especially the kind of wisdom that for thousands of years, even if he is dead, he is still strategizing and can still resurrect himself, which only makes readers sigh, he is indeed Xiang Liu 😳 But Xiang Liu also selfishly bets that Xiao Yao also loves him and has such deep affection for him. In the article, Xiang Liu is resurrected by Xiao Yao at all costs. The two of them rush to each other, which is gratifying and finally gives "Shanghai Love" a real ending. The author's continuation is very reasonable and the writing style is good. I recommend that everyone can read it with peace of mind.
The story concept is very exciting. The author's writing style is also very good. The characters' personalities are not broken at all. They are just like a flower in many Yaoliu articles. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ It's just too short and not enough to read. I will write more. Please write a few more articles to take a look. Finally, I suggest changing the cover 💕
Of course the book I wrote is super beautiful (hahaha, hug me). I haven't logged in for a long time, and I'm really excited to see everyone's comments!!! I'm going to faint from happiness! Thank you everyone for your likes! My writing style two years ago was still very immature, so thank you!!! I wish you happiness every day~
It's very well written and beautiful [sending my heart]
A very interesting continuation, the writing is very good, Yaoliu finally died
The writing is very in line with the characters. I hope Yaoliu can be happy together and no longer can't help himself.
Thank you for your best wishes. The decryption of the last few chapters of the short story is really touching. It is a very warm continuation. Full of love❤️
Good-looking, not bad, very good
Looks good, but a bit short!
