On a mission in women’s clothing, he met Jiang Ling, a famous young master from the capital and a junior commander. Not only did Jiang Ling take an interest in him, he also tried to take liberties with him. Grim-faced, Cai Yunchen thought he couldn’t say anything since he was standing in for his sister, so he could only put up with it. Amid all the awkward mishaps, the two gradually fell for each other, and Jiang Ling openly accepted that his love was a man.
Yet in a world torn apart by war, the two found themselves on opposing sides. Cai Yunchen felt he was betraying his conscience, especially his parents, who had died in the flames of war, and chose to leave. Jiang Ling grew more mature and chose to fight on the front lines, defending his country while searching for Cai Yunchen all along.
After peace came to the land, Jiang Ling thought he was close to forgetting everything about Cai Yunchen, and that Cai Yunchen had vanished with the smoke of artillery fire. Then, by chance, he finally saw him again. The two reconciled and truly understood each other’s feelings.
There is only one review for such a good-looking book. It's super good-looking. I like this type of Republican novels the most. Two people are at odds with each other and have opposing identities. People who are in love are also strangers. As the book says, you are not my moon, but the light of the moon really shines on me, but you have forgotten that the moon is cold. Although the ending of this book is bad, you will still feel a touch of sadness and regret after reading it. The prosperous country built with flesh and blood is always full of all kinds of regrets.
