What I Do Best Is Secretly Loving You

Li An used to think she was insecure, timid, cowardly, and plain-looking, so she never imagined she would one day meet Xu Chen and become involved with him.

Later, more than once, she secretly hoped that maybe he could like her just as she was.

But in the end, Li An realized that although he didn’t treat her like everyone else did, he still couldn’t love her.

A secret crush is one person’s private upheaval, and Li An was best at one thing: harboring a secret crush…

(P.S. This is a short campus BE story, so it won’t be too long.

Rather than a conventional novel heroine, Li An is closer to a real person. She isn’t perfect and has her flaws. She can be sensitive and get caught in cycles of doubt, just like we all can at times. Some things may be hard to understand when viewed from an all-knowing perspective, but please don’t judge her too harshly. Xu Chen, the male lead, is like that unreachable ideal person in everyone’s heart. He may not be perfect, but to Li An, he is the best.

If that’s not your cup of tea, please don’t read.)
