Ye Luoli: Forest of Mist

While searching ancient texts for the imagery of “mist,” Ling Wu, an ordinary college student, is caught in an accident and transmigrates to the Ye Luoli fairy realm, where he becomes the mysterious Fairy of Mist in the Misty Forest. Shrouded in eternal fog, this secret place is the most neutral sanctuary in the fairy realm, and a forbidden land no one dares enter lightly. As the newly appointed Fairy of Mist, he inherits the mission passed down through the generations: protect the forest and stay out of conflicts.

Newly endowed with power, Ling Wu devotes himself to training in the ancient place of inheritance. He learns to control the flow of mist, weave illusions, and conceal himself, gradually coming to understand its true nature: mist is a barrier that shuts out the world’s turmoil, a mirror that reflects people’s hearts, and an impartial guardian. But peace does not last long. The unexpected arrival of the Ye Luoli Warriors, strange stirrings in the power sleeping deep within the forest, and outside forces coveting the treasures of the Misty Forest all shatter its tranquility.

Holding fast to his principle of neutrality, Ling Wu struggles to grow as he walks the narrow line between protecting the forest and dealing with conflicts from beyond it. He must repel unwelcome intruders, unravel the mystery of the previous Fairy of Mist’s disappearance, and face the rising tide of conflict between good and evil in the fairy realm. From a bewildered newcomer to the mist, he grows strong enough to wield it as both blade and armor. Through the many trials of the Misty Forest, Ling Wu gradually finds his own path: mist can conceal, but it can also herald the dawn; neutrality is not indifference, and protection is true to the heart.
