Zibuyu: Old Li with the Bald Tail

The Chinese folk tale of Li the Bald-Tailed Dragon is widely told in Shandong and Northeast China. The little black dragon, Li, was born after his mother, Lady Guo, swallowed a plum. His father was the dragon god Yifeng, and Li was formed from one of his ears. After his tail was injured, people traveling to the Northeast called him Li the Bald-Tailed Dragon. He endured countless hardships in search of his family, and in the end, they were reunited.
