The traditional Chinese folk story about Bald-tailed Old Li is widely circulated in Shandong and Northeast China. The little black dragon Old Li was born after his mother, Guo, swallowed a plum, and his father, Shenlong Yifeng, was transformed into the dragon ear. Because his tail was chopped off, he was called Bald-tailed Old Li by people who traveled to Guandong. In order to find his relatives, he went through a lot of hardships, and finally the family reunited.

When I was a kid, I heard my grandmother tell the story of Bald-tailed Old Li, but there were no specific twists and turns as written in the book. It was really exciting. Although it was a legend, I was still drawn into the book and looked forward to the excitement in the later stages.
It's very interesting, and feels like reading a bedtime story.
