I’m an Actor in the Apocalypse

[A post-apocalyptic zombie novel. No System or special powers, not a wish-fulfillment story, slow-paced. Read at your own risk if that’s not your thing.]

In Xu Mang’s memories, he has been reborn. He has no one he absolutely must take revenge on, but there are people he wants to protect. He knows his own limits and only wants to gather a small team, navigate between the major factions, and live in peace. But things never go the way he wants...

In this dark age, people can only force themselves to accept it and adapt, because only the adaptable survive; the rest are eliminated.

“Child, remember: once you become a zombie, you can’t be saved. This is evolution, not a virus!”

“Humanity’s enemies have never been just zombies. Humanity itself is an enemy, too.”

“Some light will always shine in the darkness, even if that light itself doesn’t care about the darkness.”

When a profession is allowed to expand without limits, its appeal far exceeds what humanity has defined it to be.

The same is true of actors. They can do far more than people realize.

Humanity’s definition of professions is narrow. As civilization advances, the power each profession can unleash is unprecedented.
