[One-on-one romance + sweet love + high school + secret crush + reunion + childhood friends]
Road-challenged Lin Ran’s parents tell her they’re moving, but she doesn’t want to. Making someone who can’t find their way around move to a new city feels incredibly unfair to her, even cruel.
Lin Ran protests, but to no avail. The day before her first day of sophomore year, she arrives in her new city and her new home. On the first day of school, she confidently decides she doesn’t need to scout the route in advance, then gets lost for half an hour.
Those thirty minutes not only scare her new homeroom teacher, but also give the school gatekeeper two years’ worth of material to tease her about.
After her new homeroom teacher successfully guides her to class, Lin Ran meets her new deskmate, a cute, chatty girl with a cheerful personality who’s always chattering away. The two students behind Lin Ran are her deskmate’s childhood friends.
One bickers with the cute girl every day while secretly nursing a crush on her. The other always watches the two of them bicker with a gentle smile.
The three of them make a curious combination. Their personalities don’t seem to match at all, yet somehow they look perfectly harmonious together.
Later, Lin Ran realizes that the gentle boy sitting behind her is actually rather aloof. And why does he look at her so strangely? As she spends more time with them, Lin Ran finds herself making a whole group of good friends in her new city.
She finally learns why the boy behind her looks at her so strangely: she’s forgotten him.
