The Legend of the Flower Demon

Ten lifetimes ago, when Jin Tongzi was still a child, she nearly died. A young woman saved her, and for that, she never married, enduring a lifetime of ridicule and abuse. Because the woman had not entered the cycle of reincarnation, Jin Tongzi gave up a thousand years of cultivation and turned her into a flower. She spent her days reciting scripture and cultivating, eventually returning to life as a human. But the tea-tree blossom stubbornly went its own way, turning jealousy into hatred and stirring up trouble once more! Wouldn’t that ruin a thousand years of cultivation? Grateful for Jin Tongzi’s teachings through the scriptures, Bodhi Zi willingly gave everything, following her all the way... To save the tea-tree blossom, Jin Tongzi trespassed into the underworld and smashed the Nether Bell, throwing the place into chaos. Water, fire, lightning, and thunder raged through its halls; wind and rain swept through as bolts of lightning flashed and thunder roared. The once solemn underworld descended into turmoil. The prince’s expression grew increasingly grave, his brows knitted together. He knew that if the underworld’s laws and order were completely shattered, the consequences would be disastrous! Yet Jin Tongzi’s journey to repay a debt of gratitude spanned three lifetimes. The flowers on the far shore bloom for a thousand years and fade for a thousand more; flower and leaf never meet. Love is not bound by cause and effect, and fate has already decreed life and death…
