Snow Dragon Exploration: the History of the Development of Polar Enterprises in New China

This book is based on original documents such as the State Oceanic Administration's China Polar Expedition Reports over the years, the China Polar Research Center's statistical reports and archives, as well as oral history materials such as polar expedition workers' diaries, memoirs, and personal experiences. With the theme of "Developing Achievements", we systematically review the development process of polar undertakings under the leadership of the Communist Party of China from scratch, from existence to greatness, and from large to strong, comprehensively summarize the major achievements of China's polar scientific expeditions, and deeply explain the historical experience of the development of China's polar scientific expeditions and the rich connotation and contemporary value of the Antarctic spirit.
