The Arrogant Young Master and His Unhinged, Scheming Childhood Friend

Two male leads

A powerful pairing, an elite wealthy family, childhood friends

Campus romance + domineering CEO. The one pursued is a college student; the pursuer is a conglomerate CEO.

Six-year age gap, with the older man as the pursuer

A spoiled, willful young master who loves making a fuss × a seemingly chaste but actually scheming, possessive obsessive type

The pursuer has been plotting to win him over for years. The young master falls for him amid his relentless advances and gentle coaxing. He spoils the young master endlessly, though the young master certainly won’t let anyone boss him around. In the end, he gets thoroughly “tamed” by the older man.

“Big sister, you’re so pretty. When I grow up, will you marry me?” The lovestruck, clueless Mu Jinyan mistook Qi Yanli, who had long hair as a child and a beautiful face, for a girl. Of course, the scheming Yanli, who had his eye on Yanbao from the start, wasn’t going to let this opportunity slip by. His gaze darkened, and he smiled as he replied, “Okay.”

In the end, Qi Yanli cornered Mu Jinyan against the wall of an upscale bar and said in a cold voice, “Didn’t you say you were going to marry me, Yanbao? How can you take it back?” Mu Jinyan regretted everything. Why had he gotten involved with this obsessive lunatic? But he refused to back down. “I like soft, sweet girls who know how to act cute!” Qi Yanli leaned close to his ear and murmured, “Yanyan, you can’t get away from me.”
