(This is the first time I've posted one of my own novels, and hardly anyone's reading it (wails three times).
It's not very good. I wanted to make it longer, but I've got such bad writer's block my neck's about to snap, so I'll end it here.
It's a collection of standalone stories about monsters. I meant to write about seven of them, but only got to three. Oh well.)
The woodcutter Zheng Wu was chopping wood that day. At dusk, he headed home along a deserted mountain path.
It was still light when he suddenly came upon a man in a Taoist robe pinning a woman down on a large rock.
From a distance, he could see that the woman wore bright clothes, though her face was indistinct. He heard no cries for help and couldn't tell whether she was alive or dead.
The man in the Taoist robe raised a bloodstained dagger and stabbed the woman twice more.
Faced with this brutal crime, Zheng Wu was terrified and didn't dare intervene recklessly.
He could only slip away quietly, abandon his bundle of firewood, and flee in a panic.
Not bad, I like the weird monsters in it
This is a novel that tells many kinds of stories! Um! Still a short article
