In 1972, Nixon visited China and brought a military satellite photo, which spread the name of Lop Nur to the world. After China-U. S. Relations eased, the U. S. Requested a joint inspection of Xinjiang, but the request was rejected because the purpose of the operation was ambiguous. In the early 1980s, a Chinese scientist disappeared mysteriously in Lop Nur. The unimaginable search and rescue efforts made him famous for a while, and even became a global hot spot for a time. Since then, strange disappearances have occurred frequently, and Lop Nur has become the devil's triangle in Asia. After the trip to the bottom of the Flame Mountain, Yuan Sen and his companions packed up and ventured into Xinjiang again.
