A debut author, always happy to take suggestions!
Advanced martial arts + System (low profile) + simulations + sharp-tongued protagonist + merciless toward women + decisive and ruthless + cautious by nature + an antagonist in the making.
"Jiang Liu, you bastard! After all the help I've given you, you actually cut down our dynasty's national fortune?" an old man shouted furiously.
"No, greed had nothing to do with it. The wheels of martial arts keep turning because someone always has to make a sacrifice. Today, I cut down the national fortune to complete myself. I only want to bring about another miracle of martial arts. How dare you stand in my way?"
"System, convert all my travel time into lifespan."
"Ding! Conversion successful. Host's remaining lifespan: 20 years."
"Then deduct ten years of lifespan and begin the simulation."
"Ding! Ten years of lifespan deducted. Simulation beginning."
"Year One: Host leaves the mountain stronghold with a fortune and settles in a town. Host feels his offensive techniques are lacking, so he focuses on the Moon-Slaying Sword Canon."
"Year Two: Host has a sudden idea. To better comprehend the moon, he changes his routine and starts sleeping by day and staying up by night."
"Year Three: You make some progress."
"Year Six: You reach perfection in the Muscle Tempering stage..."
"Year Ten: You reach perfection in all four stages: skin, flesh, muscles, and bones. The Moonlight Breathing Technique reaches the minor mastery stage, and the Moon-Slaying Sword Canon reaches the minor mastery stage."
"Simulation complete."
Once I succeed, once I stand at the pinnacle of martial arts, you will forget how dark my methods were, forget my selfishness, forget that I would do anything to achieve my goals.
The world will revere me as it reveres a god.
