Pillar Project

Okay, okay, this is indescribable. Those stories about alien gods turning into women and coming to my house are just cool articles that ride on the traffic of Cthulhu. I have read a lot of novels recently, almost all of them skipping chapters and pages. This is the only book that made me read sentence by sentence. The text is just right. , The sentences are fluent, and some medical popular science is also very good, many of which are like free radicals. I also studied biology in high school. Hahaha, the plot also moves forward smoothly. The only shortcoming is that it is too short.

It's pretty good. This kind of crisis atmosphere feels great, and it's delicious. However, there are too many professional-related things and it's too long. Because it's the blind spot of ordinary people's knowledge, it's not interesting to read. I quickly skipped it. The medical vocabulary that is too professional is actually hard to understand. It would be better if the book could be reduced to some discretion. Now there are too few chapters. I hope the standard can be maintained in the future. If it can be maintained, it will be a masterpiece. Come on, author, I'm hungry [laughs]

This book currently seems to have the potential to be a divine book. As long as the author maintains it, it will be at the level of a divine book. If such a book can become popular, it will be a blessing for Tomato and readers! The narrative style and story advancement are like Liu's. I hope the author will work hard!

For this platform, it is considered a very high-quality work. I even think that the author's background creation is far superior to those "gram series" works with no name. It can be compared with "Embers of the Deep" on a certain paid platform. At present, the author is trying his best to show that in the face of those indescribable things, the inherent powerlessness of human science; the existence of human society is at stake, etc., Which is very atmospheric. From the sacrifices of several characters, we can also experience the greatness of the spirit of "not daring to retreat when seeing justice." This is undoubtedly a pertinent expression of the re-emphasized core of the Cthulhu mythology - the resistance and struggle of mankind behind the most primitive and strongest emotions of mankind (the cosmism expressed by Lovecraft). However, in my personal opinion, this novel still has many shortcomings. The following analysis is purely personal opinion. It is not easy to draw a general conclusion on such issues. One is the lag of the protagonist. He does not seem to realize the importance of the information he possesses to the disaster facing the entire human race. After confirming the existence of information pollution in the past, the protagonist still takes a long time to get into the core, and is still not active enough. It seems that the author is trying to show his growth. However, I think he should understand his significance to human civilization after knowing his importance twice. He appears indecisive in many decisions. For example, to personally investigate the situation of Babbitt: go just go. Even if he didn't go, there should have been corresponding larger-scale strategic measures, but he almost didn't use the information he already knew to try to analyze, which ultimately led to the opponent's supernatural counterattack. The second is the monotony of character creation. The creation of the first few characters is undoubtedly very good, but since then, every character has been created with almost the same core, showing similar dedication to the country and humanity... This is the greatness of the collective spirit, the brilliance of individuals in the apocalypse, and what should be expressed in this context. But they do not have much effect on the apocalypse. With the known information, human beings have almost no chance of survival. The gaze of the alien gods, the awakening of the old days... We know very well: Humanity still depends on the protagonist. This kind of personal heroism, which is common in genre backgrounds, is contrary to the characters, and there are few special features among the characters. At the same time, there is also the indecision of human civilization behind this sacrifice. It is clear that the enemy is a race with supernatural powers. The use of nuclear weapons is too restrained. Conventional weapons rarely attack on a large scale. Babbitt has already dropped one nuclear bomb, so he can drop more. Even if this strategy is almost a waste of life, opening a front at the border is not a waste of life. The fundamental reason is: the protagonist is too obsessed with "information cannot be shared" and forgets that he can make decisions. These decisions may be wrong, but behind them at least there is a hint of the level of power, analysis of the situation, etc. Human civilization's analysis of information is also unsatisfactory. If there are more efficient large-scale attack methods, why don't we wait for them to wake up Cthulhu? All in all, the quality of this book is still very high. The author has a wide range of knowledge and has a relatively complete reference to the original settings of the Cthulhu mythology. It has a certain level of quality.

Before I start commenting, I apologize. It is my habit to read book reviews before reading a book. When I saw a book friend saying that this is the best novel he has ever read, I gave the example of Lord of Mysteries to refute it. Now that I have read more than a hundred chapters, I can only say that it would be better if it were written at this quality. From what I have seen of this book, book friends who like to use their brains without burning their brains are in luck. The novel will not be pretentious. Advanced, I have improved my skill. Every pit has traces to follow, and I can guess roughly. When I write about scientists across the country and even the world working hard to study for civilization, I saw the feeling of three-body. The one that impressed me most so far is the President of Great Britain. I originally thought that I could control him by controlling my family, but I forgot that there is faith and faith. This is something Crusu cannot understand.

It can be regarded as a relatively pure one among the Ke series. It faces the fear of the unknown, human despair and unyielding in adversity, the wisdom of civilization, the insignificance of individuals, and the sense of epicness. It also has a description of human nature, but it is a bit lacking. It only describes it from a macro perspective. The author also searched for various information very carefully. Although I can't understand it and can't prove whether it is correct or not, it made the style of the work better. The recent update speed has obviously slowed down, but the quality is still online. I am really afraid of interruption. I hope the author will continue to work hard. The main line is advancing very slowly. I think it is normal. Faster is not good. Savor it carefully. I also hope the author will not be anxious. The quality should always be online. Things from the original work will be introduced slowly, and some new innovations in mysticism will be appropriate. My personal suggestion is to strengthen the description of group portraits. Although the description of scholars and warriors is respectable, in general it is a bit monotonous. I hope it can be more delicate and rich. If there is a bottleneck in this aspect, you can first strengthen the protagonist's advancement of the main plot and strengthen the role of the protagonist.

In my personal opinion, it is the best book on the Ke system at present, better than Mystery. The despair and powerlessness of human beings in the face of the Ke system are too profound.

The writing is very good. My only worry is whether I can maintain this level in the future. I didn't say that just because I am the protagonist, I have the halo of the protagonist. The country and other talents also play a big role. It is very real.

It is a very pure gram novel, full of human beings' powerlessness and confusion about unknown things. It is not the kind of traditional upgrade novel that is based on gram genre.

It does not directly describe the horror of Cthulhu, but uses some side descriptions to make people feel despair and depression. I like this style very much. I am tired of reading Cthulhu. This kind of modern, non-fantasy novel can't be found in similar novels.
