The revenge plan that has been dormant for twenty years in "The Jackdaw Cry" is the helpless tragedy of hatred giving rise to love.
Cai Jun, the godfather of Chinese suspense, wholeheartedly recommends it.

The novel is very exciting and well worth reading. The story twists and turns again and again. It is a very interesting book. The heroine's tragic life is entirely caused by the male protagonist. During a kidnapping, the heroine's secret was revealed step by step through continuous conversations between several characters. The plan ends with love. It would be great if made into a movie.
This reminds me of "She Disappeared", which is also a story about love and hatred. Moreover, the suspenseful atmosphere in the book is well created, just like the "White Night Journey" I watched before, which makes people want to put it down. I think this book is very suitable for friends who like suspense novels, and I recommend everyone to read it.
