Pear Sweet as Snow

Li Li grew up surrounded by love. She has a warm home and emotionally steady parents. People often say that children raised with love face the things they care about with courage and strength.

Of course, she believed that too, for the first decade and more of her life, before she met him.

When she first saw him, his good looks bewitched her, so she threw herself into pursuing him. But she kept hitting a wall. Was he really that legendary unattainable flower on a high peak? Was he out of reach for an ordinary girl like her?

As the saying goes, there's nothing impossible in this world, as long as you're willing to give up.

So just as she was about to give up, he confessed to her.

Li Li was utterly stunned.

Li Li: So it wasn't that he didn't like me. He just said men should know how to play it cool, so they can attract good girls!
