Reverse Farming + Sect Building + Good-for-Nothing's Rise
The protagonist has a "Spirit Plant System" but no spiritual root, and is trapped in a dilapidated sect with no one but himself. Unable to leave, he can only grow spirit plants and sell them to the System for points, then spend those points to "plant" spiritual roots for himself and his disciples. He must recruit ten disciples to break the seal and leave the mountain. In the early stages, he lies low in the mountains and focuses on farming and growth. In the middle stages, he takes in all kinds of "problem disciples," including demonic cultivators and alchemy fanatics, and grows spiritual roots for them. In the later stages, he leads the sect he raised with his own hands toward the peak, where all immortals come to pay homage.
The main appeal is that he builds a sect through farming and takes in disciples as if raising sons. In the end, he leads a ridiculously powerful team whose spiritual roots were all "grown" by him, stunning the entire cultivation world.
