Yuyu is an ordinary high school student who, for some reason, spends all three years of high school focused entirely on his studies. At graduation, he sees his childhood friend Feng surrounded by girls from their school and feels a little envious. He realizes he's wasted all the best years of his youth, so he decides to change and vows to become incredibly popular at university, making up for the youth he missed out on. While going to university orientation with Feng, he meets a beautiful, pure-hearted girl. To his surprise, she approaches him first and says she has something to tell him after orientation. Thinking his romantic luck has finally arrived, Yuyu goes to meet her, only to discover that the girl likes his childhood friend. Disappointed, he gives up on his plan to become popular.
