A boy lies unconscious in a hospital,
a cat is overlooked at the New Pet Bureau.
Is their meeting
a choice made by fate, or a compromise with reality?
Whatever the case, once their contract is sealed and time converges, the story of the future begins.
"My name is Jiang Taotao."
"Jiang, as in 'the great river flows east'; Taotao, as in 'the great river flows east and washes all away.'"
"Welcome to the world of New Pet Masters."
This is a world led by pet beasts and New Pet Masters.
Here, animals, plants, machines, elements... anything you know might become a contracted pet beast.
At the same time, history is incomplete, the future is shrouded in mystery, and New Pet technology is advancing...
The collision of disaster and opportunity makes the world dangerous and dazzling,
and ushers in the golden age of New Pet Masters.
