Lord Hades, Could You Love Me?

Mo Yihan, the aloof and slightly funny ruler of the Netherworld × Mu Siling, a goofy yet perceptive woman from the mortal realm

A devoted, one-on-one romance!

A power couple!

When they first meet,

Mo Yihan, the ruler of the Netherworld, says coldly:

“Our marriage is purely a matter of mutual benefit. Don’t get any other ideas.”

One day,

Mo Yihan, his ghostly powers sealed, stares at Mu Siling with bloodshot eyes.

“No, no, Siling, you can’t. Stop it, quickly.”

Trembling, Mu Siling reaches out and strokes Mo Yihan’s face from afar.

“Mo Yihan, loving you is a choice I’d make even if it meant flying into a flame. My love for you has nothing to do with the High God Ling’er.”

She died,

dying in the lifetime when Mo Yihan loved her most,

dying in the year the people of Dongying dreamed of destroying the world with nuclear wastewater,

dying before the dark sea and its many mutated creatures

Did she die?

How could she be dead?

Look,

isn’t that her standing by the sea, feeling the wind?

Everyone could just make out voices coming from over there.

“Siling, let’s go back. It’s windy out here.”

“Okay!”
