The Messenger's Empty Box

[Mad Max] dieselpunk, [Cultist Simulator] a world of secret realms, [Hunt: Showdown] tactical gunfights. After a prolonged interstellar war, the four great clans finally disturbed this living planet, which had been sleeping all along. The biological field generated by its brief waking dream affected every living thing within five light-years, drawing their consciousness, or perhaps their souls, into its dream and trapping them there. Although the surviving members of the four great clans feared the “waking dream” and fled, they still hoped to return and rebuild their homes. So they left behind ordinary civilians and beacons capable of resonating with the neurons of this colossal space whale, to monitor changes on the planet. If the whale fell asleep again or awoke once more, the beacons would broadcast the planet’s location across the universe, allowing them to return. Unfortunately, no message ever came, even as the people left behind went from being united to splitting into four nations. Not until that day… A living planet, a lost civilization, a colossal beacon, an alien environment, a waking dream, four mutually hostile nations, and those who remain. The poor messenger only wants to deliver a case to the person who is meant to receive it. They never imagined being drawn into the schemes of the four nations, but that is fate. (P.S. Most of the firearms in this book are modeled on guns from World War I or World War II. However, since some of the firearms they are based on come from very different eras, there would otherwise be too great a gap in strength between them. As a result, their firepower has been balanced, so it does not always match reality.)
