Lu Jin'an, an official in the Ministry of Justice, came from a poor family and passed the imperial examinations at a young age.
The two join forces to solve Chang’an’s bizarre cases.
“Lord Gu, let me come along and protect you.”
“Lord Lu, there’s no need. You might not be able to beat me in a fight.”
