[Two female leads + horror (maybe) + plot-focused + short story]
I'm terrible at writing romance. The female lead's love interest (a woman) appears fairly late and is only hinted at at first. She won't make a proper appearance until later.
When Xiao Ya woke up, she had entered a paranormal instance and, unfortunately, become a special player. She had to help the Ghost King kill the other players.
Strangely, the instance overlapped with her lost memories in every way, yet was also different.
In her memories, Xiao Ya could always make out the vague shape of a girl. Her instincts told her that the girl was important.
As she explored the instance more deeply, her memories began to return, and the girl grew clearer and clearer.
“Thank you. You're so kind!” (She smiled.)
“Do you believe me? I really didn't do those things.” (She pleaded.)
“I'm so tired, xx. Why me? What did I ever do wrong?” (She wept.)
“I want to get into Imperial University. I want to become a researcher!” (She said with hope.)
“We promised we'd take the college entrance exams together and go to university together!” (She said joyfully.)
“Who are you?”
“I am ‘bzzzt...’”
A clever short story
Why! Why is it over? Why so few!
Come on, it feels really good. It's a pity that it's a short story, but it's not bad.
It's beautiful, cheers to the author 😘😘
Big cheers for the author, it's super, super good-looking
